Collaborative work plays a big role in my classroom, and students enjoy hearing and seeing the ideas of their peers. Students are more engaged when they have a team to help them. The tables and stools will be used to make collaboration between students more accessible. The dry erase markers and the fact that the tables can be used as whiteboards will aid in the fun and practicality of the lessons. Learning is more fun when you get to work with others. Besides the advantage that they get to have access to different viewpoints, the students will also benefit by having someone by their side to provide moral support. Another advantage is that kids will have the opportunity to practice their social skills and what better way than to do it while they learn.
