Our elementary school uses a schoolwide online reading program that helps students progress through the different reading stages. Individual headphones for each child will help my students be able to focus and concentrate on their assigned activities based on their individualized levels. The numerous writing materials, such as journal writing paper and chart paper, will aid in my students' writing development, as I will be able to model appropriate writing strategies with the chart paper. Then, my students will be able to practice and apply these skills to their own writing in their journals on a daily basis. The binders, sheet protectors, and laminating pouches will allow me to create a special Memory Book for each student at the end of the school year, so they can forever remember their wonderful year in kindergarten!
