Having these tablets would allow students to work independently manipulating and playing with the English language while receiving immediate feedback. Practice with the language is essential to learning it. Second language students with dyslexia would have appropriate applications so they would be able to practice in a way they need to see print, letters and sounds in order to be successful. The second language learners would have the opportunity to practice typing skills which are needed in order to respond to tests within the district and on state tests as well. Utilizing typing application practice would allow them to learn the appropriate placing for fingers in addition to giving them the practice needed to increase their speed. Having all of these skills will help them further their education to become successful in their communities.
