The globe and models will give students a visual representation of what things actually look like in real life. They will also be used to foster the learning of the visual learners as an accommodation. These items correlate to the social studies and science standards being taught. Students will be able to see the globe is a sphere just like the earth and can make a connection. Privacy shields will be used for student assessments. This past year was the first year for me teaching sixth grade Social Studies/Science. Before, I had taught second grade for two years. Therefore, I am in need of some supplies to foster the learning of older students. Thank you for your help. My students will greatly appreciate it.
