My students currently have access to two ancient desktop computers in the classroom. Given the limited number of computers and the fact that they are incredibly slow, the student often struggle with the time constraints for their usage. It's hard to research a topic in 20-30 minutes of computer time when up to half of that can be spent waiting for the computer to load properly. These Cromebooks would allow a more efficient use of the children's time – more of which would be spent on content and less on overcoming the obstacles with outdated technology.
