Classrooms with flexible seating allow children the ability to have a choice in the seating that works for their specific learning style. Allowing students to have control over their learning environment will help them reach their full potential, both academically and developmentally in the classroom. Standing desks, stools, carpet desks and beanbag chairs will be just some of the flexible options students will have in our classroom. The academic benefits of incorporating flexible seating include increased motivation and engagement, improved behavior and overall academic achievement.
