As an English teacher, helping students develop a love of reading is critical. The Accelerated Reader program helps to give students a closing activity for their nightly reading homework. Each book comes with an Accelerated Reader test, helping students to grow comfortable and familiar with reading comprehension tests. This is standardly available in most classrooms, but we lack the funding to make this happen for my students. I am asking for assistance in order to make this a part of our English classroom. Language skills are critical to future success in all areas of life. Please help me to provide this additional resource to my students!
