Technology is absolutely necessary in the classroom. It generates a path into 21st century learning. With access to technology in the classroom students are able to approach their learning in a variety of ways. During instructional time, students can work collaboratively, while sitting together in our designated computer center, or comfortably at their individual desk. Laptops are mobile which increases the opportunity for usage. With the Laptops, they are able to access a plethora of educational applications. They can conduct research which can then be used for presentations through power points or even a word document. These devices will also allow us to communicate outside of the classroom through virtual field trips.
