The play Block Art based around the tenants of Social Emotional Learning, comprising of self-care, self-management, and self-love will assist my children in navigating their turbulent lives. In a world where there seems to be no options nor role models to show my students a more positive way, activities are needed to assist. An activity such as Block Art the stage play, which is devised to not only teach the educational standards for the classroom, but emphasize the social skills needed to cope in today's world is just what my students need. My students will be able to see first hand how positive and negative decision making can impact the outcome of their lives with this play which, as their teacher, is the greatest lesson I can ever help them learn and would be honored to do so.

About my class
