Alternative seating allows students to make the choices that work best for them to focus during a lesson. Making sure students are seated comfortably enhances their motivation. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given a choice in their seating. They have shown that they are more engaged and are more focused when they are comfortable. The wobble chairs that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options. Wobble chairs provide an outlet for those students who need to move around during lessons in a way that does not disrupt the lesson or the other children’s learning. I have used wobble chairs in the past and know how they positively impact the diverse needs of my students. I hope to be able to provide my students this year with this choice for alternative seating.
