I work with a special group of students who experience strong emotions and are actively learning how to express them appropriately. My school works with many students who are still learning to express their emotions and how to communicate with the big wide world appropriately. My classroom and school are blessed to work with these special students who need a safe place to go to work through their emotions. Creating a sensory room for our school will give a safe place for all students to go while working through their big emotions while also helping to teach them how to self regulate.
