Technology is such an important tool for expanding students' learning in every subject area. Not only is access to Chromebooks beneficial, but it is also so fun for the students! Chromebooks will provide almost endless opportunities for enhanced learning in our classroom. In third grade, students spend the time learning how to use their email accounts, type properly, and research topics effectively. Multiplication is a huge standard taught in third grade. So, students will be able to play engaging multiplication games to help build fact fluency. English Language Learners and struggling readers will be able to access online reading programs where they can listen to books while following along on the screen. Students will also be able to type out their writing assignments rather than handwriting each and every assignment. And the list goes on! Chromebooks can enhance our learning in so many ways. This gift will not only help this year's students but classes of students for many years to come!
