By donating to our project, you will help our students grow in confidence and the skills they need in order to continue to think critically and grow as mathematicians! At MEES our students work to build off of foundational number sense skills in order to solve problems in multiple ways. Students talk and share in order to learn more. Our goal is continue to promote a deeper understanding of numbers through choral counting, number talks and problem solving with the help of these math tools. Reaching across grade levels (between 5 1st and 2nd grade classrooms), students will utilize these math manipulatives in our daily classroom tasks and our math talk to grow as mindful mathematicians.
