The model of the ear will provide my students a unique learning opportunity that they can apply to their personal life. My students are learning the different parts of the ear and what parts are needed in order for hearing to work. They then will learn about their own ear and how their ears function and what parts are not functioning appropriately. This knowledge will benefit these students throughout their lives as they will have routine audiological appointments. The model of the ear will provide a hands on learning opportunity for students to physically touch and assemble the different parts.
