Small group literacy and math groups is a staple in my kindergarten classroom. What better way to keep students engaged in small groups then to incorporate technology. In the world today there are so many great apps that can be used to benefit a child. At this age it is important for children to listen to reading. If children are able to have access to a tablet I can set up on a tablet opportunities for students to listen to reading while I’m working with another small group. There are countless amounts of activities on the tablets that’s will keep learning fun and engaging. Currently the early childhood program at the school is lacking in technology. I would like to provide my students with a fair opportunity to access learning through different mediums.
