Students spend a large portion of the day completing reading and writing activities. Right now, my students sit on the floor, or any empty space they can find to have "flexible" seating. These comfy floor seats actually provide students with a comfortable choice to complete the day's lesson. Students feel empowered by choice and enabling them to have a say in their learning can make a world of difference in motivation, interest, and self-esteem. Please consider donating to my project. These students are extremely hard-working and deserve choice in their learning. We can teach each other that kindness goes a long way. ultimately, creating a chain of giving back.
