My diverse class of first-graders is expected to participate in a rigorous curriculum, yet their little 6-year old bodies crave constant movement! Sitting in standard classroom chairs does not allow most students to satisfy the need to wiggle and move, which can interfere with their learning! Research says that students' physiological needs must first be met before maximum learning can take place. With options for flexible seating, students can optimize their learning by choosing a seat that best suits their needs and helps them to reach their full learning potential.
