This year my students are not allowed to use physical books, so the Scholastic UPFRONT magazines will provide them with an opportunity to access the current, relevant text. The variety of topics within the magazines will provide choice to students while ensuring that they challenge themselves to read an appropriate level of text. Having these magazines will also provide students with common text, which will enrich and engage them during online discussions. Since students look forward to reading and having a discussion, this will be an ideal tool to help us navigate virtual learning together!

About my class
