This printing press and starting set of ink will allow my students to explore printmaking through a professional viewpoint, experiment with varied materials, as well as produce a greater range of work. While hand-pressing can offer wonderful results, having a printmaking press within the classroom will allow students to explore a greater range of printing. Various real-world printmaking methods and careers are not possible without a press. Additionally, other methods such as relief printing, collograph, and monoprinting are greatly improved and provide more rigorous assignments. I want to be able to provide meaningful, stimulating, and relevant assignments to my students and a printing press would be an exciting and professional-level addition to the classroom! All projects, curriculum, and materials are ready. I'm so excited to share this material and process with my students, and I want to be able to provide an exciting and professional piece of equipment for my wonderful students!
