Have you ever sat in one spot all day long and was capable of keeping focus? Flexible seating encourages students to be engaged and promotes higher performance and productivity. My students would be excited to have the option of sitting in various places throughout the classroom. The bouncy bands would help those jittery students that like to move while completing activities. The low table and cushions would be great for my students during centers. Also, the rug would be great for morning and math meetings, but also doubles for those students who like to lay out while working.
