My project seeks funding for STEM Bin Kits and Centers. These will be used by my students interactively in collaborative groups to enhance their learning experiences, to build confidence and stamina, increase knowledge through trials and modification. The STEM kits will also promote creativity and critical thinking skills daily for my students. For example, my students can practice early STEM skills by using the Blocks and Blueprints Learning Center for spatial reasoning and problem solving through building 3-D structures. Additionally, The Building Brick STEM Challenge Kit promotes creative engineering skills by asking students to construct and test their creation, revising, and retesting it until their design is successful. These STEM Bin Kits will encourage my students to build, invent, and explore. I can't wait for my students start digging into these new materials and effortlessly learn while having fun.
