"Think. Help. Change" - The Wild Robot Teaching our kids to read for pleasure is one of the many goals of any teacher. By starting a lunch-time book club, I will be able to show our fifth-graders the awesome power of book discussion! These purchased books will be able to be used and enjoyed for years to come! Since this is the first-ever book club, we will be piloting the program with 5th grade. The books will help our fifth-graders come together as a community and learn how to empathize with the central character in the story. This Book Club, in turn, help our students read more deeply and be able to analyze what they are reading.
