Students will be able to work in cooperative groups to study the structure and function of living organisms. The most common organism studied has been the frog. Students will be able to use the frogs to study multiple systems such as muscles, organs, and the circulatory system. My students are excited to be able to explore hands-on/minds-on activities in class. It allows them to put a visual to the discussions we have in class. Science is more than just listening to lectures. It is using practices and skills that real-world scientists use. The cure for the world's ails may be in my class!
