These headphones will help students gain literacy and math skills. We use headphones in our listening center in order to listen to stories on tape or CD. Students then respond to the story by sharing their favorite parts or discussing different story elements. On our iPads we will use them for math and phonics practice. Some students are also not able to get some from home and I would hate for them to be excluded or singled out for not having their own. I find my learners are still trying to figure out how to take care of electronics. Wires are often pulled on accident and the headphones deteriorate quickly.
