My students need engaging activities in order to remain focused and on task. They get bored easily and need tools that will help them practice the content and skills that they have learned while I work with my other students in a small group. The headphones will significantly help to make the class less noisy when my students use the iPads. The noise is very distracting for me and my students when we are working together. By donating to our project, you will significantly help improve student engagement. While doing so, you will also support a love of learning. In addition to the headphones, the other items that I am requesting would significantly help my students in learning how to read. This is a skill that they all have difficulty with. Since my students have poor reading skills, they also struggle with writing and forming sentences. The math materials that I am requesting will also be of great benefit for my students who are more visual and kinesthetic learners.
