Everyone deserves to learn and communicate in the way that is best for them! My students all have severe disabilities. This can affect the way they communicate and the way they learn. Some of my students are completely non-verbal and require a device to help them express themselves. Others can say or repeat a few words, but still need some help communicating what they want or need. Even though my students have unique difficulties, they still have the desire and the potential to learn. In order to participate in lessons and answer questions, my students require a communication device. An iPad is ideal for my students because not only will it provide them a way to communicate and answer questions, but it will also give them the chance to interact more through games and activities.
