Chinese writing system is very different from English, to lots of students, Chinese writing system is like a picture. They enjoy drawing the Chinese words. But with pencil as students major writing utensil, students hardly can understand the beauty of Chinese writing. Writing with calligraphy brush help students experience the beauty of Chinese characters and make the learning more fun. students can learn different style of writing, when they work on getting their writing more beautiful, they remember how to write by heart without feeling boring. So my project is teaching students to write with calligraphy brush and learn to appreciate the beauty of Chinese writing system.
