My percussion section has been playing on hand drums and Orff instruments to make up for the missing equipment that we need to be successful percussionists. This would greatly benefit my percussion section for grades 5-8 in band. They need more instruments to be successful in middle school and when they continue on into high school. They have never had the opportunity to play instruments before, so they are eager to learn. I am excited to see how far they will go with the proper instruments. They come to class ready to learn every day and keep asking when there will be enough band instruments to be played.

About my class
