Currently our students are sitting at their desks. Since they are kindergarteners this makes it really hard for them to remain focused and engaged. They need the option to sit on a cozy rug where they can move their bodies while engaging in a lesson. A rug they can sit on during their independent reading. We would love to have two rugs in our classroom (opposite ends) as we parallel teach. This will give them a space to sit as well as provide a more cozy feel to our classroom.
