My art classroom is set up to be easily cleaned and cared for after a fun day of painting, sculpting, and creating. As a result, the floor is not carpeted and is hard for the younger children to sit on during story time and instruction. This rug will give all of my classes comfortable and visually calming places to sit. They will be able to focus and be attentive when they are in a designated soft space of the room. The children will be able to utilize this space throughout the year in my book area as well when they complete their work and have free time!
