Now more than ever, I am seeing the importance of students having access to quality leveled books at home. Due to COVID, the past two years of school have been interrupted and teachers have pivoted to bring our best practices to our virtual classrooms, but these practices didn't transfer well for all students. Now we are back in the classroom and we want to give our students all the resources to make up for the lost time. I truly believe that teaching the skill of reading cannot be done without the right materials. Our school recently purchased a leveled library and we have been sending books home with students. These bags will help with organization, and transporting books to and from school every week. These bags will be used for many years to come and will greatly help us with keeping our library in tact.
