By attending this conference, I hope to discover more creative, engaging, and challenging ideas and lessons to give my students every chance possible to be independent, successful learners. My students face many challenges outside of the classroom and school is a safe place where they can explore, thrive, feel safe, and thrive. Learning in the classroom needs to be hands on and relatable to real world situations. I hope to gather new ideas and experiences to share with all of my students through my passion for teaching, especially math instruction.
