Many of the programs that we use on our classroom, such as Epic and Study Island have sound and help students who are struggling readers. The individualized headphones will allow the students to work independently and at their own pace without disturbing others. Many students are on individualized IEP's or have needs where sound is beneficial. The headphones will allow students to hear material read to them to help them better understand the directions, as well as their fiction and nonfiction stories and story problems in math. I feel that all of my students will benefit. Thank you!
