The majority of my students aren’t on reading levels they need to be. Its my hope that new books for our classroom library can help my students have a love for books and reading, obtain better phonics and comprehension skills that can help them transfer the skills they are learning daily in our classroom across all subject areas! A lot of them don’t have books at home, so I would love to have some in our classroom library to help them in their reading and also broaden their minds by incorporating non fiction text. Non fiction has always been a struggle for lower grades.
