This table would allow me to have a place to teach small groups of students as they rotate through varied differentiated activities and also select groups of students that need further instruction to master skills. My biggest goal this year is to further differentiate my instruction. I teach English and English Language Development to second language learners. With this table, I will be able to facilitate small group instruction so that students can get more undivided attention from me that is specific to their needs. I can tailor my teaching to their areas of strength and weakness, whether that is to further challenge them and keep them engaged or to help students achieve grade-level mastery of standards.
