My students are exploring computer science in an introduction to CS class. As a final project in their class they will learn how to program an Edison Robot. After spending the school year learning about and researching what exactly computer science is and what a computer scientist can do, they will put everything they learned to use programming an edison. Students will work in groups to program their robot to do something useful. They will write, test, and debug their very own program. This is a first time class in our school, with this project we are hoping to engage and excite others to explore computer science.
