My scholars use hands-on centers that change weekly in our classroom. These centers align with lesson objectives we are working on, they provide opportunities for reinforcement and extending their learning. Centers also give them the opportunity to apply what they've learned and practice during this time. Since our scholars are younger, bright, colorful, things tend to grab and keep their attention. By donating a color printer, my scholars will have the bright, colorful graphics as visuals for their center learning activities. Seeing the pictures in color will enable to see the graphics the way they were meant to be seen.
