Math can sometimes be a topic that students moan and groan about. We start off the class with taking notes on the topic of the day and than continue with an activity, during note taking time students can find it hard to focus. I had small little tubs of Play-Doh and it kept them engaged and listening. If I can have one available for each student and to have it organized I believe the students will thrive! The other items are to help the students stayed focused as well so everyone can learn. As a teacher with ADHD I know the struggle of how hard school was because I was not able to fidget or move. These tools will help students keep their hands and bodies active so their minds can focus.
