The soprano ukuleles that I am requesting will give each student more actual playing time in the classroom. Students won't have to share instruments during class and will be able to perform all together at concerts. Playing the ukulele allows students to learn to play an instrument in a short amount of time so that they can focus on other creative projects such as song writing. Learning three simple chords, allows students to play hundreds of songs that are beginner-friendly. The ukulele is naturally easy and fun to play because they are small, easy to handle and almost always sound good. This takes away many of the inhibitions to learning to play an instrument.
