My students participate in Collaborative Study Groups. Students are in small groups twice weekly assisting each other with confused areas in their courses in order to be successful. They use these white boards so that the entire group can see where they are struggling and the entire group can lead them to the solution. They meet with their college tutors twice a week and these white boards are vital to their success. They use these white boards to visualize their needs and ask for support. They also improve their public speaking and self advocacy skills during the tutorial process, so all these white boards improve more skills than just writing.
