Rhythm and movement are basic essential elements to the acquisition of musical skills. Developing theses critical musical skills will hopefully allow my students to further explore the endless possibilities and opportunities that music has to offer. Using musical instruments and musical activities promotes musical growth, allowing students to feel more comfortable with music, giving them a sense of security. Later on in life, students will be able to apply those same skills to learning and understanding the musical world around them. Some students will also be naturally inclined to pursue music either through singing or playing an instrument, applying all acquired skills and experiences.

About my class
