I am requesting bench cushions and dry erase markers. My students will have cushions on our window sills so they can sit and read or write with less distraction or more comfort. When students are comfortable they learn better. I would also like students to have a whiteboard and expo marker to display answers to quick review questions. Allowing each student to have their own set of markers makes class run much easier with fewer interruptions. I have seen other teachers in the building with the cushions and they tell me it is very helpful. I would like my classroom to be as inviting as theirs.
