My greatest challenge for the upcoming school year is finding ways to meet my student's individual learning needs from afar, while navigating our virtual classroom. My plan is to create individualized learning tool kits that will give my students hands-on manipulatives to enhance their digital learning environment at home. First grade is all about hands-on learning. These individual tool kits will have the materials to help improve math, writing, and reading lessons at home. Students will have access to their own counting cards, base 10 blocks, dice, alphabet letters and more. It will make our class family happy knowing we will all have these resources to use during our online learning time.
