I have worked as an elementary teacher for 11 years. I have been fortunate to work at a great school with great teachers and wonderful students. Unfortunately, my small district has not had the funds to send many teachers to conferences at my school consistently every year. I would love the opportunity to attend a meaningful conference this year in order to improve my teaching craft in the areas of reading and math. This conference could teach me how to delivery instruction in fun, new ways. My students deserve nothing but the best from me and I would love to apply what I have learned at the conference to my classroom. I have been teaching Second grade for three years now and I would love to take my teaching to the next level by stepping out of my comfort zone. It's time for me to learn how to create ordinary lessons into extraordinary lessons. Thank you.
