Allowing my students to take pictures with actual digital cameras will allow them to capture moments created by the students and teachers in multiple activities. Currently, the school does not have any digital cameras. The students cannot have phones during school hours, so that leaves it up to one teacher to take pictures during the day using a cell phone. Having access to new technology will also teach my students more responsibility and creativeness. A professional camera and two smaller cameras will allow my students to capture every possible moment that they see or attend! What would high school be without capturing the moments that made them smile? The students will also be working directly with a publishing company to create different layouts and templates for their best yearbook ever! So far my students have went above and beyond to use the few resources available to them to begin this year’s yearbook, but they now just need cameras to start capturing all of the fun moments that they get to be part of during their high school careers!
