Hands on experiences are significant in early childhood education. These materials will enhance the learning and provide opportunities for children to explore a variety of materials. It’s important to keep children engaged and with these materials, children will have a desire to learn more when the materials they are using are exciting. Children receive a lot of screen time which is creating their fine motor strength to be weak. These materials increase their fine motor strength when the child is exploring these materials. These materials also increase higher level thinking. The teacher is able to ask questions that are open ended and children have opportunities to increase their vocabulary.
