I am planning to make reading centers that will ensure student success with small group learning. I am hoping to reach more students this way - I think listening to audio books on and iPad is a perfect way for students to engage with text and technology. I have researched different apps that are engaging for students - when they rotate to this center I am hoping they will be excited to listen and learn. Some students don't have access to this type of technology at home, or if they do they aren't accessing literacy with it. I want to facilitate a specific time for them to listen and grow their comprehension skills.
