Students with learning disabilities such as autism and developmental delays require a multitude of specialized instruction tools to develop the communication, functional, and academic skills necessary for their survival and optimal quality of life. Students with disabilities struggle to communicate and interact with their non-disabled peers, without support. They are often excluded from activities that they are not deemed capable of doing. Being excluded from certain experiences also reduces the students' ability to grow and adapt to the world around them. I want to bridge this gap for my students by building their communication, functional, and academic skills.

About my class
