A new rug would help my students grow their sense of community. The books will help improve my students' social skills. The resources will help my classroom be more organized and help our centers run smoothly. The rug is the heart of my classroom. We start our day on the rug greeting one another, having morning meeting, reviewing the calendar, expressing how we are feeling that day. We read on the rug. We do yoga and adapted physical education on the rug. We have free time, and we have centers on the rug. These resources would help the overall function of my classroom and build a warm environment for my students.
