October is Anti-bullying month. I would love to request books that teach about respect, love, kindness, and other personality characteristics that make bullying impossible. I would like my students to understand what bullying is, what it looks like, and how to deal with it. I plan on distributing these books to all the classrooms in our school so that the teachers can include them in lessons. I have chosen books such as "The Invisible Boy" because it is about the positive power of compassion. I am also requesting "The Juice Box." This is an especially important book because it empowers young people to stand up to bullying.
